Fulmer Cricket Club was officially founded in 1895 and we are very proud of our club and all its achievements over
the years.
Fulmer Cricket Club is
not just a club that plays cricket, but a family orientated club that forms an
integral part of our local community. The field offers a wide variety of entertainments
during the year and plays host to community wide events each year such as the
village fireworks display and the local playgroups gala day.
We
play Saturday and Sunday fixtures throughout the season from April to September. Our 1stXI
plays in CMB Premiership (Chilterns, Mid Bucks and Berkshire) and our 2nd XI plays in Division 1 of Chilterns
League in the 2024 season. We play friendly games on Sundays and also on Saturdays when
there are no league cricket fixtures. For those who are likes fast-paced and fun-filled cricket, we also play T20 games during the midweek evenings.
The
club’s aims are:
§
To promote the game of cricket
§
To provide a friendly atmosphere to all – players and supporters
§
To contribute to the enjoyment and village atmosphere of Fulmer
The club is almost entirely self-sufficient; all funds come
from the members themselves and the ground work and maintenance is done by the
playing members. The ground was completely renovated a few years ago and
benefits from a large modern clubhouse serving Rebellion
Brewery beer, soft drinks and snacks throughout
matches. The bar area was upgraded in early 2013 and is a great place to relax
and discuss the days play and days gone by!
A
children’s play area is located on the outfield
making Fulmer an ideal place for a family day out.
Net
sessions (weather permitting) and team selection takes place Wednesday evenings
at the ground. We also look to have a set of indoor sessions before the start
of each season.
New
players of all ages are welcome at all times. If you are interested please head

page to
let us know.
