Welcome to Fulmer Cricket Club
Founded in 1895, Fulmer Cricket Club is proud to be a
cornerstone of our vibrant local community. We’re not just a cricket club;
we’re a family-oriented hub, offering a warm, welcoming environment for
players, supporters, and families alike. Our picturesque ground is a venue for
much more than cricket, hosting beloved community events such as the village
fireworks display and the local playgroups gala day.
We play a full schedule of Saturday and Sunday fixtures from
April to September. Our 1st XI competes in the Division 5 of Thames Valley League,
while our 2nd XI plays in Division 7 of the Thames Valley League for the 2025
season. Additionally, we have a Friendly XI team that plays friendly fixtures
on Sundays, offering a relaxed and enjoyable cricket experience for those who
prefer a less competitive format. For those seeking more excitement, we also
host fast-paced T20 games midweek.
At Fulmer Cricket Club, our core aims are simple:
- To
promote the game of cricket
- To
provide a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all
- To
enrich the community spirit of Fulmer
The club operates as a self-sufficient entity, with funding
generated from our members, and the upkeep of our ground managed by our
players. Over the years, we’ve invested in the club, renovating the ground and
upgrading the clubhouse. Now, it’s a modern, welcoming space where you can
enjoy a drink from Rebellion Brewery, a soft drink, or a snack, while
discussing the day’s play with friends.
Our ground also features a children’s play area, making it
an ideal location for a family day out. We host regular net sessions, team
selections on Wednesday evenings, and preseason indoor sessions to ensure we’re
ready for each new season.
Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, we
welcome players of all ages and skill levels. If you’re interested in joining
us, we’d love to hear from you—just head over to our Contact page.
